The Auxx-Fence is a solid hardwood slat fence built to wrap around the platform of your Auxx-Lift motorized garage storage system, giving it a finished, furniture-grade appearance in place of an open platform edge. Built from real hardwood, not plywood or veneer, each slat measures 3/4 inch by 1-1/2 inches and is available in a Maple or Walnut finish to match your garage's existing look.
The fence mounts using four heavy-duty threaded rods that thread directly into the spring nuts inside the lift's ceiling strut channel, replacing the original M12 bracket screws. Four rows of horizontal slats run the full perimeter of the platform, held by 16 side holders and 16 corner brackets, with set screws that let you lock each level at your preferred height and spacing once everything is confirmed level.
Because the fence height and slat spacing are built around your platform's actual mounted height, installation is a hands-on project: the platform is lowered, the threaded rods are installed in place of the stock screws, and the hardwood boards are measured, cut to length, and mounted level by level. Manufacturer guidance estimates roughly three hours for a professional installer, and recommends working with a second person, particularly during the threaded rod installation step where the lift motor needs to be supported.
The Auxx-Fence installs on both new Auxx-Lift setups and lifts already mounted and in use, and is sized for the Auxx-Lift 4x8 platform, with guidance provided for adapting the layout to other platform sizes.

Yes. The platform is lowered to the floor, the wire mesh is removed, and the original M12 bracket screws are replaced one at a time with the included threaded rods while a second person supports the motor.
Each hardwood slat is 1.5 inches tall. Total fence height is calculated as the number of levels times 1.5 inches, plus the total width of the gaps between levels. For example, 3 levels with 1-inch gaps works out to 6.5 inches of total fence height.
The slats are sized for the 4x8 platform as sold, but the manufacturer's installation guide includes measuring steps that allow the layout to be adapted to other Auxx-Lift platform sizes.
