The Auxx-Cover is a four-panel polycarbonate cover system designed to hide the exposed wire mesh underside of your Auxx-Lift 4x8 motorized storage platform. Once installed, it gives the underside of your lift a clean, finished appearance instead of the industrial look of open mesh, without blocking the light that passes through the semi-transparent panels.
The kit includes four precut polycarbonate cover sheets sized to match the platform's beam spacing: two end panels and two inner panels, each finished to span its bay without gaps or overlap. Installation uses the platform's existing support beams and end beams as the panel frame, along with three cover holders, six pieces of double-sided tape, and a tube of super glue to secure everything in place.
Installation is a hands-on but manageable DIY project. The platform is lowered onto temporary support studs, one side beam and the wire mesh are removed, the four cover panels slide into their bays, and the side beam and mesh are reinstalled before the cover holders are taped and glued into their final position. The process uses basic hand tools, including an Allen key, a wrench, and a level, and does not require detaching the platform from its ceiling track.
The Auxx-Cover is designed specifically for the Auxx-Lift 2400 and 2600 models with a 4-foot by 8-foot platform, and is not intended for other platform sizes.
